It’s been a while since we’ve written a blog here on the website – as pointed out rightly by Sarah – one of our members in our current Accountability Mastermind.

We actually took the blogs offline completely for a short while as we were working on some site updates.

We’ve got some exciting stuff going on in the background that we hope to launch with you all very soon.

We’re also 66% the way through our pilot Accountability Mastermind group. I have been a member of a number of Masterminds and wanted to create one around accountability.

What is a Mastermind?

A Mastermind is a group format where likeminded people come together to encourage one another to achieve their goals. You can choose to host a Mastermind in person with regular meet ups, or you can host it online.

Usually one person or a team of people lead the Mastermind. Many follow a specific format and in the case of our Mastermind, we include bonus material along the way and weekly group calls via Zoom.

The Mastermind is either rolling like a membership group or a set duration in length. Ours is 12 weeks and it is my intention for one to run each October, January, April and July.

The Accountability Mastermind – Our Pilot

This initial online Mastermind pilot has been eye opening. I knew what formula I wanted to follow, but ultimately you can’t always please and cater for everyone. We had a broad range of people each working on very different goals. Life got in the way for some and others decided that the group had helped them realise they wanted to spend time away from social media. So we’ve had a few drop offs while we’ve refined the process.

Due to my background in marketing, PR, content and all comms, I am leaning more towards focusing the Mastermind on those with goals around this topic so I can offer my professional assistance. It has been brilliant to support people through personal goals such as weight loss but I am not a coach. I feel sometimes that I don’t want to advise or offer words of wisdom when I am not qualified in that area.

They say you should stick to what you know! I know I can run a solid Accountability Mastermind for anyone looking to improve their business content, focus on writing or studying or just generally work consistently on their business tasks.

The next Accountability Mastermind will run from October 1, 2019 and is perfect for any business owner or anyone looking to write a book, complete their studies, aim for a promotion or focus on building a side hustle.
